Who We Are
Liberty Movement, established in 1998, is a non-partisan civic platform dedicated to civil rights, civil liberties, democratic participation, social justice and people-powered national development. We believe that citizens should not remain isolated, silent or dependent. Citizens can become a constructive force when they are informed, organized and connected through trust and technology.
Why We Exist
Bangladesh faces serious challenges in governance, employment, education, corruption, public services, infrastructure, energy, industry development, social safety and youth opportunity. At the same time, the country has a huge human resource base. Liberty Movement exists to convert this population strength into organized citizen power.
Our Approach
We do not begin with confrontation. We begin with education, organization, local service, evidence, transparency and leadership development. We mobilize people around common national interests and local solutions while maintaining a peaceful, lawful and non-violent civic approach.
Our Long-term Goal
Within five years, Liberty Movement aims to build a nationwide network of trained citizens, volunteers, mentors, professionals, women leaders, youth fellows, local chapters and digital learners capable of supporting good governance, ethical leadership and practical community development.
